Enjoy the unique sound of fiddles in harmony. The coffee sessions offer an irresistible blend of sociable ensemble playing, together with expert guidance on style, technique and musicality. Our repertoire roams through the British Isles and beyond to France, Scandinavia and Finland. All arranged with beautiful and original harmony parts especially composed for folk fiddle players.
Meet in the café at 10.15 am, music-making starts at 11 am in the conference room. There's also the option to stay for lunch afterwards (we usually do!)

Fee will include lunches on Saturday and Sunday, tea and coffee all weekend. ​We will go to a local pub for a Saturday evening meal.

Delicious Duets Workshop

venue: Shrewsbury Folk Festival
Free entry for all ticket holders. Time: 11.30am - 12.30pm
Experience the uplifting sound of tunes in harmony! All melody instruments welcome. Kitty will guide you through a selection of traditional tunes with original harmony parts from her book, Delicious Duets. Sheet music provided - bring a music stand.
